Experience one of the oldest and most famous annual gatherings in Scotland, which has been regularly attended by the reigning Monarch and members of the Royal family since 1848.

Enjoy a full day tour from Edinburgh, transporting to you to the beautiful scenery of the Eastern Highlands and giving you the chance to witness the spectacle of a very special Royal Highland gathering.Tossing the caber, piping, Highland dancing and much more...

From Edinburgh we travel north crossing the famous FORTH ROAD BRIDGE and continue to PERTH, passing the impressive SCONE PALACE and then on to the picturesque town of BLAIRGOWRIE, famous for its linen production at the end of the 18th Century.

We continue our climb northwards, passing BRIDGE OF CALLY, and then the spectacular GLEN SHEE (from Glen Sith, the Fairy Glen) towards BRAEMAR and DEESIDE. By the time we reach the Spital of Glenshee we are around 2000 feet above sea level. Look out for ptarmigans, the wild mountain birds of the Highlands.

We arrive at the Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park where your visit to the Braemar Royal Gathering begins. International athletes, Scottish Pipe Bands and teams from H.M Forces performing in the Tug of War Championships are just some of the events you can enjoy, as well as the atmosphere of the games.

In the late afternoon, we start our descent back to Edinburgh via PERTH.

Admission to the Games costs £8.00 per adult and £2.00 per child.
